Tanaysha Troutman, 28, of Tampa, and Victoria Patten, 33, of Brandon were reportedly involved in a romantic relationship and stopped their car in a left turn lane near a median. A woman who was driving behind them, Stephanie Jordan, 38, of Gibsonton, also stopped and exited her vehicle.

While they argued, and car struck all three woman. Troutman and Patten were pronounced dead at the scene, and Gibsonton was taken to a local hospital, where she was being treated for her injuries.

Police told TBO.com that social media posts referred to Troutman and Patten as a couple, and they were unsure whether Gibsonton was involved in the apparent love triangle.

Authorities also said the driver of the car who struck the women had submitted to a blood alcohol test and they were awaiting results.
