The NASCAR Xfinity Series and Cup Series teams are in action on Saturday at Kansas Speedway.
The Xfinity teams will practice, qualify, and race as they kick off the opening round of the playoffs. Twelve drivers are eligible to contend for the championship after last weekend's race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The Cup teams will kick off the second round of the playoffs. Sixteen drivers entered the Round of 16 finale at Bristol last weekend. Only twelve moved on after Kyle Larson won dominantly by leading 462 of the 500 laps.
Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex Jr., Ty Gibbs, and Harrison Burton were all eliminated from contention.
Joe Gibbs Racing's drivers have accounted for nine Kansas wins in the last 12 Xfinity races. John Hunter Nemechek won last season's race at the intermediate track. He and Brandon Jones have won two times each at Kansas since 2018.
Kyle Busch led the team's lineup during his time at the Toyota team as he won three consecutive Xfinity races at Kansas between 2014-16.
CW will continue to provide live broadcast coverage for the Xfinity Series race while the NBC Sports app will stream practice and qualifying. The CW website provides a way to find the channel based on zip code.
